Nova Scotia Works is a free government service. We help employers with recruitment, planning and HR support, and we help people with career planning, job searching, and on-the-job development. Our employees help clients navigate a range of programs and services that will aid their success. Locally, Nova Scotia Works has offices in Yarmouth, Tusket, Church Point, Barrington, Shelburne and Lockeport.
About the 2023 Job Fair
Welcome to the 2023 Job Fair. Showcasing the opportunities that exist within Southwest Nova Scotia. In January 2017, a group of service providers in Yarmouth County joined together to produce the 1st Yarmouth Job Fair. The goals of the fair are:
- To facilitate the hiring needs of local companies and the employment needs of the local job seeker.
- To stimulate and promote the local economy and employment climate.
